The Women's Phillipa II Down Parka from Peter Storm is a fantastic waterproof jacket for the cold winter months. Whether you’re hill walking or browsing the high street, this down parka is a luxurious, stylish option which provides protection from the elements. Built with a Polyester shell with a 3,000mm hydrostatic head, the jacket is waterproof yet still breathable.
The jacket will keep you warm when temperatures drop. The down insulation traps warmth close to your body and prevents it from escaping. The hood has a removable faux fur trim so you can adjust the look to suit you. Stash your essentials safely within the two fleece lined hand pockets or plunge your cold fingers in when you need extra warmth.

Love this coat but...
Love this coat but the zip is very difficult to do up. Thought about returning it but thought zip might improve with use and decided to keep it.

I followed the size...
I followed the size guide when ordering and bought a size 12 I am usually a size 10 but wanted to be able to wear thick jumpers with room to move. The coat arrived really quickly but the size 12 was way too big even with a big jumper and it drowned me. The coat was lovely and really great quality just too big for me.

I love this coat,...
I love this coat, it’s warm, stylish & really nice quality. It feels quite heavy to hold, which i think is indicative of the quality but it doesn’t feel heavy or cumbersome when you’re wearing it.. the inner and outer materials are lovely and it’s got pink piping inside, all the stitching is spot on. I’ve been out in a light shower and it kept me super warm and dry. It has elasticated cuffs and Velcro round the sleeves to make the sleeves tighter. It also has a Velcro strap on the back of the hood, which makes it smaller and stops the front of the hood from falling below my eyes. The fur on the hood looked much better after a bit of attention from my hair brush. I’m usually a 14 in tops (I’m 34F) and a 10 on the bottom so I bought a 12 which is slightly tight on the top although I prefer that.. I also like my coats to be close fitting / tight around the bottom and thighs area and my only criticism is that this coat is a bit too waffy on the bottom half to what I usually prefer, I would’ve been better with an 8 for the bottom half but then I wouldn’t have got my boobs in (hope this helps for all the big boobed women out there!).. overall it’s a bluddy lovely coat and as I got it on sale at £49 it’s also a bargain!

Lovely warm winter coat, excellent value, prompt delivery.
Not waterproof and faulty zip
I bought this coat as looking for a waterproof coat. First time worn in rain and coat leaked in multiple areas, and not just along seam lines. In addition I have found it difficult to pull zip up and it has split apart on two occasions. Having read these reviews I see this is a known problem so it is disappointing that it is still being sold by Peter Storm label.

Love the coat, very warm, the hood is great and the belt at the waist gives it a feminine stylish look. The grey goes with everything too. Pockets are nice and big to fit my phone and dog treat, doggy bags in it.

Really practical and very attractive jacket. Well protected against weather, great hood and perfect warmth - like a duvet. Only negative is you need to take more than normal care to hold zip connector in before you can pull zip up but apart from that it’s perfect.

This jacket is everything
Just received this jacket. It arrived very quickly, and it's everything I want in a jacket: cozy but not bulky/heavy; belted, so it looks quite sleek; waterproof; detachable fur trim; versatile colour; great price. I definitely recommend it.
couple of damp patches
Bought as it was waterproof & a longer length than the usual short waterproof coats. Wore it on a very rainy day out a couple of weekends ago & it was essentially waterproof but I did find that there were a couple of small areas were the rain had managed to seep through, leaving me a little damp on the back. It's a little snug on the sleeves so can't wear a thick cardigan or jumper. Although I got my normal size I would have tried a bigger size had they made one, in the hope of a little more room in the sleeves. Zip sometimes opens from the bottom on it's own when you sit down

Loved the coat but the arms were about 4inches too long.
I’ve had a nightmare returning it as Hermes didn’t collect it so ended up taking into store, still haven’t been refunded to our PayPal account.
